Let's start off by saying happy 40th to Chateau Grand Traverse (and let's lift a glass of wine in celebration!).
So how does a winery celebrate four decades of crafting such fine beverages? If you're Chateau Grand Traverse, you announce you're going to do some major redevelopment.
"Our love for this land, and our dedication to excellence, has led us to make this change for our customers and guests," the winery posts on its
website. "We look forward to seeing you this summer for a taste, a tour or a glass of wine on the patio. And cheers to 40 more."
The winery will be remodeling this year and will be changing the entire interior of their tasting room in the process. The purpose is to allow the winery to better handle the busy season in the tasting room, providing their visitors with the best possible experience.
If that weren't enough, Chateau Grand Traverse is also building a brand-new patio that will come off the tasting room and overlook the vineyards that were planed 40 years ago.
