Elk Rapids realtor purchased by Century 21 Northland

Century 21 Northland made a bold move recently in its third expansion since being formed in 2006 as the company acquired Elk Rapids-based Up North Properties recently.

The deal gives the real estate brokerage a step into Elk Rapids as well as throughout the Torch Lake and Antrim County region. This marks the third time the company has expanded. In 2009, Century 21 Northland opened their Suttons Bay office and in 2010 it acquired Sleeping Bear Realty.

"This is a strategic step we’ve been planning for some time, and we’re delighted it’s come together now, particularly with these superb people and realtors," says Century 21 Northland owner Brad Platt. "Property owners and buyers alike can now access our vast property network and our award-winning service right in Elk Rapids, Kewadin, Torch Lake, and surrounding areas. It’s a great fit."

The team from Up North Realty--which includes Tom Wiltse, Ann Morrison Perry, Kellie sergent, Anne Wiltse and Conrad Reiter--will stay on at the 116 River Street office and continue to handle listings and daily operations. Additionally, Camille Campbell will join the staff.

Century 21 Northland is owned by Platt, Jason Kudary, and Julia Lilley and boasts 35 licensed realtors.
