Downtown Traverse City will look a little different soon, as a redevelopment plan is underway at the corner of Hope and Front streets.
Two buildings at the location will be demolished under a brownfield work plan approved by the
Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and be replaced with infrastructure improvements and a new three-story headquarters for the TBA Credit Union.
The $1 million project will be carried out by the County of Grand Traverse Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and is expected to generate capital investment in downtown of $7.3 million, and create 17 permanent jobs.
