Thirsty? Yeah, so are we. Which is why we're pretty thrilled that
Brewery Terra Firma is not only open, but it has multiple taps flowing with their wonderful handcrafted brews.
The brewery, which opened up at 2959 Hartman Road just south of the Grand Traverse Mall, opened last month and instantly had seven beers on tap that were crafted right on site. What's even more exciting for the suds lovers out there is Brewery Terra Firma plans to have 40 taps with their own creations available for imbibing.
If you're in the mood for some brew, you should definitely check them out. The taproom is open 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday.
If you're curious about what beers they opened with, we'll just make it clear that there's something for every taste. The Bee Hive Honey Blond (sourced with honey from the brewery's farm), the Manitou Amber Ale (formerly created by the Traverse Brewing Company), the Black Orchid Vanilla Bean Porter (made with real Madagascar vanilla beans!) are joined by American pale ale, India pale ale, black IPA and an extra special bitter. Upcoming releases include the Donkey Smasher Imperial Brown Ale and Ancho Chili Dutch Double Chocolate Porter, a specialty of brewmaster Jon Neidermaier.
So what are you doing still reading this? Get over to Brewery Terra Firma and have a brew. You deserve it.
