AccessPoint in Traverse City has big news; it will be merging with Advance Employment, another Michigan-based firm, to form a new company simply called AccessPoint.
The new company will offer unified human resources services, from recruiting to staffing and outsourcing, from initial job postings on the one end of the spectrum to retirement management on the other end.
Several smaller divisions will exist within AccessPoint, like the Advance Employment division, which will focus on recruiting and temporary staffing for employers, and Accounting Services, which offers outsourced accounting services integrated with clients' payroll and benefits systems.
The new company will have 15 offices across nine states, with more than 100 staff members. AccessPoint CEO Greg Packer will continue to lead the company, which will be headquartered in Novi.
