Music Center in Battle Creek gets funding

The Music Center, based in Battle Creek, received a gift of $10,000 from AT&T during a recent presentation at the organization’s office at Trinity Episcopal Church. The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the Music Center was formed in 2000 as a merger of the Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra and its Community Music School; the Battle Creek Boychoir and Girls’ Chorus; and the Community Chorus.

“AT&T shares the Music Center’s commitment to Battle Creek and all of south-central Michigan,” said AT&T Michigan President Jim Murray. “The center is a remarkable local collaboration that is keeping families connected with the arts in dynamic ways and we are proud to partner with them.”
