Wolgast grows with new hires

There are two new faces on the construction sites run by the Wolgast Corporation.

The company, which has offices in Grand Rapids, Gaylord, Gladstone and Saginaw, recently hired Joshua Short and Trevor Grunder as new project managers.

Short, who lives in Frankenmuth, is a 2011 graduate of Central Michigan University where he earned a degree in applied arts in construction management. He also minored in industrial safety at the university and has his OSHA 10-hour card and is green-building certified.

Grunder, who resides in Midland, is a 2010 graduate of Ferris State where he earned a degree in construction management. He has five years experience in the construction industry and was a quality control technician in Northern Michigan prior to accepting the position with Wolgast.

Both Short and Grunder will be responsible for providing management support through estimating, scheduling and quality control.
