St. Mary's of Michigan is taking quite the step into the digital information world, with the release of a new mobile app for Androids and iPhones.
The hospital launched the app to help patients and families connect with the hospital on several levels, including directions to the health system's locations, physician search, and health tips and events.
"The app is a first of its kind effort and our latest innovation in patient service. The app provides an easy way to get and stay informed through fast and convenient mobile access to our services," says Christine Bergman, St. Mary's marketing director.
Bergman says the app is in response to patients' growing need for immediate access to health care information. It's available free from Google Play or the Apple Store.
