Daniel Laabs was recently named the new manager of the
Midland County Habitat for Humanity Restore.
For those who don't know, Restore brings in building materials that are sometimes used and often times new and sells them at discounted prices to help raise money for the Habitat for Humanity projects. In addition, it helps keep many of the items from heading into landfills.
"We are excited to have Dan join the Midland County Habitat for Humanity family as our Restore store manager," says Jennifer Parks, the executive Director for Midland County Habitat for Humanity. "He brings years of management experience to our store. We look forward to a renewed vitality in our employees and our customers. The store is truly a new experience every time you come in."
Laabs lives in Saginaw with his wife, Kim. He holds degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Phoenix.
