The northeast regional office of the
Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center at Saginaw Valley State University has a new director.
Jeremy Bockelman will now oversee the center, which is located in
SVSU's Center for Business and Economic Development.
Bockelman will be responsible for providing technical assistance and training to small and mid-sized manufacturers in the 14-county northeast region of the state. The center's goals include improving the competitiveness of regional manufacturers through quality, diversification and other efficiencies.
Before this, Bockelman was an accountant specialist at the center, and has more than 10 years of manufacturing, sales and marketing and operations experience. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and an MBA from SVSU.
