Isabella Bank promotes one, hires another

Isabella Bank is making some changes at the top, with one new hire and another promotion.

The new Mecosta division president is Keith Kenney, a new addition to the bank.

He will manage day-to-day operations and community development for Mecosta County offices of the bank. Kenney brings more than 30 years of banking experience to the job. His past titles have included market president for US Bank, and senior VP and commercial lending for other banks.

Jerome Schwind now will be chief integration officer, and previously was the Mecosta division president. In his new role, he will integrate strategic initiatives across the company. He joined Isabella Bank in 1999 and has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry.

He received a bachelor's degree in finance from Ferris State University and an MBA from Lake Superior State University. Schwind also is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie executive development program and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
