When
1st State Bank does something, they definitely go all in. The company announced a round of promotions recently, tallying five people being bumped up within the ranks of the financial organization.
Jim Milroy, Michael Colby, Cheryl Kesseler, Craig Loree and Brenda Demo have all earned promotions at 1st State Bank in mid-Michigan.
Milroy is now an executive vice president, a bump up from chief financial officer. In his new role, he'll be responsible for the financial, operations and information systems of the bank. Milroy came to the organization in 2007 and has a bachelor of arts in accounting from Michigan State University, holds a CPA designation and completed studies at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Deleware.
Colby has been promoted to executive vice president from his previous position of lending officer. He has been with the company since 2004 and holds a bachelor's in business administration from Central Michigan University.
Kesseler earned herself two new titles as she was recently named a vice president with the bank as well as assistant compliance officer. She has been with the company since 2005 and was previously a loan administration manager. She holds a bachelor's of business administration and a master's in science administration from Central Michigan University.
Loree was also promoted to vice president recently from his former position of information systems officer. He joined 1st State Bank in 2010 and brings with him a bachelor's and a master's degree in computer science from Central Michigan University.
Demo, who first joined the bank in 2011, has been promoted to bank secrecy act officer. She is responsible for the institution's risk management. She has a bachelor's in business administration from Northwood University and a master's in business administration from Northwood University.
