FinancialEdge Community Credit Union names new VP of information technology

Financial Edge Community Credit Union has brought a new VP on board to oversee its information technology needs. 

 

Shawn Ashley was hired on as the credit union's new VP of IT, with more than 25 years of hands-on IT experience including Microsoft servers and workstations, network electronics, and telecom infrastructure design and support.

 

He was most recently employed at the Michigan Molecular Institute and the Midland Information Technology Consortium, where he was responsible for virtualizing Microsoft and Linux servers, providing Microsoft Exchange support and providing IT support and services for more than 40 nonprofits in the Midland area.

 

Ashley is a Saginaw resident and has received certifications and training from Microsoft, VmWare, 3Com, Cisco, Alps, Netgear, Dell, and other technology vendors.
