Chad Saxton recently signed on with Eagle Village to oversee the daily camp operations for the Hersey-based agency.
"Chad has a passion for building up children and working with families needing help, a quality that is invaluable to the Eagle Village team," says Cathey Prudhomme, Eagle Village president and CEO. "With the addition of Chad to the Eagle Village leadership team, we will continue to set the bar high for intervention and camp excellence."
He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the camp industry, and actually started his camp career with Eagle Village back when he was just an activity specialist. For the past five years, however, he's been the Camp Living Waters director. During his time at the Luther-based camp, Saxton not only directed day-to-day camp operations, but helped revive the 46-year-old camp, which was nearly closed in 2008.
