Duperon Corporation has been growing a bit too fast for its current headquarters location, which is exactly why the company made the decision to purchase a new facility and move.
Thankfully for Mid Michigan, Duperon, which has been growing at a rate of about 25 percent each year, made a decision to stay in the Saginaw area.
The company finalized the purchase of its new property, located at 1200 Leon Scott Court, in mid-April. The new facility will allow Duperon, a leader in preliminary liquids and solids separation technologies, to consolidate its office and manufacturing operations into a single facility.
The last time Duperon moved was in 2004 when it relocated its office staff to better accommodate their needs. Then they had 14 employees in their office and now they have more than 50 full- and part-time staff, including interns.
"Our entire team is energized about the possibilities provided by this new space," says Tammy Bernier, president and CEO of Duperon. "This move will give us the room we need to continue our current growth, as well as the opportunity to keep our world headquarters here in mid-Michigan."
Currently, Duperon Corporation works with approximately 250 Michigan vendors, and draws its employees from Saginaw and as far as Rochester Hills, Owosso, Sanford, Grayling, Standish, and Reese. The company expects the move will have zero impact for their team and production.
