The
Disability Network of Mid-Michigan, located in Midland, recently announced that is has a new employee on the staff of its Veterans Services program.
Lionel Hall, an Army veteran of 11 years serving as a nuclear, biological and chemical supervisor, will help the program in its goal of coordinating all aspect of veterans support, including medical concerns, employment, education and housing. The Veterans Services program at Disability Network provides direct services to veterans with service-connected disabilities who are enrolled in an Independent Living Program through the VA.
Hall, who is a veteran of Desert Shield and Desert Storm, followed up his military service by teaching in the Grand Rapids schools before working as a youth counselor at Bethany Christian Services' residential facility for juvenile sexual offenders.
In his free time, Hall can be found reading, studying and teaching theology.
