Community State Bank has new hires and promotions

Community State Bank announced it has promoted two staff members and added three more staffers to its mid-Michigan locations.

The new hires are Christer Lucander, senior VP and chief lending officer; Adrienne Hanson, senior VP and chief financial officer; and Michael Olgaard, VP and commercial loan officer.

Lucander will lead and direct a team of commercial lenders and branch managers in generating quality loans, as well as overseeing credit administration, portfolio quality and credit relationships. Hanson will direct the bank's corporation, oversee its strategic plan and its operations department, manage liquidity and asset liability, and develop policy, procedure and the annual budget. Olgaard will prospect commercial loans and manage loan relationships.

Lucander and Hanson joined the bank in December, while Olgaard came on board in February.

Also in December, Christian Durbin and Tanya Lockrey were promoted to new positions within Community State Bank. Durbin's new role is as VP of compliance and bank secrecy officer, which includes keeping up with regulations, updating policies, compliance and reports. Lockrey stepped into the role of human resources officer, and is responsible for hiring, employee relations, benefits and payroll, labor law compliance and employee recognition.
