Mary Moran Hill was named the new associate VP of financial services and reporting for
Central Michigan University.
Her duties will include directing the administration and operation of finance-related services, and overseeing financial policies and practices.
She previously was the associate controller of financial services and reporting, since January of 2013. In total, Hill has been with CMU since 1986. Her positions have included directing the departments of treasury and investment services, accounting services, payroll and travel services, risk management and environmental health and safety, and finance information systems. It's easy to see she has expertise in just about every financial area of a university a person could have.
"Mary is a proven asset at CMU, contributing strong, insightful leadership in a way that builds collaboration," says Barrie Wilkes, vice president of finance and administrative services. "She brings a depth of financial expertise that is possible only with years of service and dedication to the CMU campus."
Hill has a bachelor's degree in accounting, and an MBA with an emphasis in tax accounting, both from CMU.
