Central Michigan University's College of Business Administration has been named one of the best business schools in the world, from the Princeton Review's annual rankings.
The publication surveys 19,000 students that attend the 294 business schools listed in
the rankings, to determine which are the best.
"This ranking is a testament to alumni satisfaction with our college," says Charles Crespy, dean of the College of Business Administration. "We have relentlessly focused on innovative, high quality, business-connected programs that inspire students to excel in diverse global environments. We embrace the Princeton Review’s endorsement of our efforts."
CMU's
marketing and hospitality services department also was recognized by the Sales Education Foundation as one of the "Top University Sales Programs" in 2011. It was one of 48 universities nationally to receive the ranking.
The
Sales Education Foundation chooses its awardees based on the curriculum strength, university recognition and support, and the opportunity for experiential learning, like internships.
