The
Bay Area Chamber of Commerce has welcomed a new CEO and president following the retirement of Michael Seward earlier this year.
Ryan Carley has been named to the position with the chamber. He's no stranger to the operations of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, either, having served as a board member previously.
Carley brings with him more than 17 years of experience in banking, having most recently been with FirstMerit Bank and previously with Citizens Bank. Carley is a graduate of Grand Rapids-based Cornerstone University where he obtained a degree in management.
The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is located in Bay City and is focused on business leadership as well as working as a liaison between businesses and the community. The organization has members throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region.
