thePlate Boutique in Mt. Pleasant is expanding, with a new hire at its home base, and a whole new store in Grand Rapids.
The nutrition-inspired kitchenware store, at 120 East Broadway Street in Mt. Pleasant, aims to go beyond providing the tools for healthy eating, and also offers education classes, nutrition workshops, and personalized dietary plans--and that's where recent hire Michelle Voss comes in. A registered dietitian, Voss is a nutrition expert who will assist central Michigan thePlate clients and oversee educational offerings at the Mt. Pleasant store.
Mora, a registered dietitian herself, is passionate about laying the groundwork to create a healthy eating hub for mid-Michigan residents, and building a community where good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle is the norm.
She'll also be bringing that passion to the newest thePlate Boutique, located at 40 Monroe Center in Grand Rapids, where cooking classes are on tap, and general manager Sarah Schuetz also is a nutrition expert and registered dietitian.
