The
Real Seafood Co. in the Uptown Bay City development is open for, uh, real, now.
It held an official ribbon cutting earlier this month and opened to the public with a grand opening celebration as well.
Located at 199 Uptown Drive in Bay City, the seafood restaurant is aiming for an upscale menu with seafood (of course), steak, chicken and vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, along with wines, beers and cocktails. Its specialties are fresh fish and premium seafood, served up either on the outdoor upper mezzanine or lower level patio, or indoor dining rooms. A bar and lounge also are onsite, and there are lots of lovely spaces for public or private gatherings, such as the patio bar with fire pit.
The whole thing overlooks the Saginaw River and, possibly unique among Bay City restaurants, the Real Seafood Co. offers dockside delivery to boats. It's open for lunch and dinner hours.
