Harrison is home to a new health "park" after an open house held in late January.
The
MidMichigan Health Park is a partnership effort among MidMichigan Health, the Central Michigan District Health Department, and Michigan Community Dental Clinics. It's located at 815 North Clare Avenue. Physicians and services from all three agencies are located at the health park.
Those services are aimed at improving health care access in Harrison and surrounding, rural communities in mid-Michigan, and include laboratory services, physical therapy, social services, diabetes and other health education programs, and a nurse case manager on staff. Health care providers with offices at the health park are cardiologist Rodney Diehl, D.O., internal medicine physician Rani Hanna, and family practitioners Phani D. Vadlamudi, M.D.; Jennifer Schlitzkus, P.A.-C.; and Tony Santini, P.A.-C.
Another suite is occupied by the Michigan Community Dental Clinic, and offers oral exams, cleanings, fillings, and other dental work.
