National retailer
Gordman's is expanding in Michigan with the addition of a new store in the Saginaw Square Shopping Center.
The 50,000-square-foot store will open July 17 at 5204 Bay Road in Saginaw. At the same time, Gordman's will open another store in Wyoming, Michigan, bringing the company's Michigan locations to three, with one in Muskegon already having opened in March.
The Saginaw store will employ about 100 people. It will host a grand opening celebration July 25 to 27 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
Gordmans is headquartered in Nebraska and offers apparel and home décor in current brands and styles, at lower cost than specialty or department stores. The company is growing, saying it has added nineteen new stores in the U.S. in the past two years, with five more to open in 2014.
