Like things that go "boom"? Well, you should probably head on over to Mt. Pleasant and have a chat with Dave Haynes and Bill Johnson.
Those two fellows are the co-owners of two new businesses located at 6823 East Pickard. The first, Showtime Guns and Ammo, and the second, All-Seasons Fireworks, both carry pretty much what their names suggest.
The duo definitely know their way around fireworks, too. Haynes and Johnson spent about 17 years running fireworks stands on a seasonal basis prior to moving into their new location.
Showtime sells handguns, shotguns and ammunition, including some used items. They offer trades, consignment sales and a layaway program.
All-Seasons sells those little packages of big explosions, such as firecrackers, bottle rockets and more. The business is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
