The Oakland County Business Roundtable was created in 1993 by Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson, to advise him on matters of importance to the business community.
The Roundtable's four committees -- economic development, quality of life, transportation and work force and education -- meet regularly and make annual recommendations to improve the business and economic climate in Oakland County. Since its creation 16 years ago, more than 80 percent of Roundtable recommendations have been implemented which contributes significantly to the county's economic success.
The leaders met last week, and our video producer/director Tom Hendrickson was there.
