Places: New Dodge Lounge

The New Dodge Lounge is well put together, at least to the naked eye. It's not the typical Hamtramck dive bar that's for sure and is akin to the feel of maybe an English pub (possibly 'cause the wooden fixtures are so dark). Of course when the hipsters take the stage that flies out the window and it becomes, again, a Hamtramck bar - but with way more windows. Probably the bar with the most, and biggest, windows in Hamtramck.

The New Dodge Lounge is a little south of the main drag of Joseph Campau but that doesn't stop the kids, and the bar flies, from filling the place for the booze, the music, the billiards, or even the burgers (they, as in the New Dodge, claim they are the best burgers in town).

Little tidbit of knowledge before you go: The New Dodge is owned and operated by a city council member, so behave.
