Upstairs is one of Birmingham's favorite restaurants, 220 Merrill. While downstairs, amid the dark, smoky, swank ambiance, there's typically a fair share of dancing going on. Sound styling provided by a live band or a DJ (depending on the night). Crowd varies, from youngish to slightly more mature. Known for the specialty cocktails and friendly bartenders, the scene usually calms down and goes a little more chill after-hours.
