When the economy in Michigan started to take a turn downhill, my husband and I decided that even though the market was terrible for selling homes, it was better than ever to buy...so buy, buy, buy, we did and I started my own property management company, Secure Properties.  Many of the properties we manage are properties that we have purchased ourselves, yet we also manage properties for other owners as well. Currently I am a member of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and am planing to attain certifications in the Real Estate field.

I analyze mortgage packages to determine accuracy of information, resolve closing discrepancies and prepare outbound correspondence and shipping of mortgage packages. I also work with lenders and borrowers to ensure timely funding of loans
 
I ended up in the Detroit area at the end of my service with the Marine Corps Reserve. I hired in with Title Source through Aerotek Professional Services, and it seemed to mesh well with my administrative background. I enjoy the great sense of teamwork we have here.

I left a good-paying, highly-secure job in the biotech industry to begin a career in Real Estate.  Why?  Because I loved the idea of running my own business and helping people make their home ownership dreams come to fruition.  As the daughter of entrepreneurs, this has been a dream of mine for years and with the Ann Arbor housing market beginning to rebound, it seemed like the perfect time.

As the Marketing Coordinator for the Charles Reinhart Company, I am primarily responsible for our online presence, including the social media strategy, website and blog. I assist with marketing training classes for agents as well as event and activity planning. I also work with agents on their website and new media strategies.

As an investment real estate broker, I focus on the acquisition and disposition of commercial investment real estate properties throughout the United States.  I work with investors and developers everywhere in the country helping them buy and sell investment properties like fast food restaurants, auto-parts stores, banks, and shopping centers.  My company is a local branch of a national real estate company with offices in almost every state.  
 
One of the more interesting aspects of my job is speaking with real estate professionals in different markets all over the country and helping them meet their investment goals.  My office does a significant amount of business in Michigan, but we are lucky to be diversified and have worked on projects across more than two dozen states.  
 
I spend the majority of my time on business development and managing our current transactions.  It’s an exciting time to be in the real estate industry, especially being from Michigan and with state of the real estate market.  However, being from the Detroit area helps us understand a difficult market better than many of our colleagues throughout the country.

I work alongside the CEO and Executive Vice President of the company providing both landlord and tenant representation. I love learning “the business of the business” of the companies I work with and really enjoy the opportunity to develop relationships with people in all industries while helping them with their real estate needs.

I process all new listings & monitor them until they are sold, leased, or off the market.  I handle all of the sign ordering as well as creating all marketing materials for all of the listings.  I update the brokers individual websites and I also update all of the listing websites we use as well and I am also the administrative assistant to one of our brokers which was actually the position I was hired in at but as cuts & changes were made I ended up with 3 titles but the majority of my work is done for the marketing department.

I am a Real Estate Broker, who specializes in Buyer Agency and Short Sales. I've worked in real estate for 9 years. My company also offers Home Retention Consulting. I've gained administration and management experience working in Corporate Fitness and for the City of Detroit.

I am a retail real estate broker who specializes in Landlord and Tenant representation. I help tenants find space and landlords find tenants and make sure that everyone gets the best deal possible.

I work for Urbane Apartments, which owns and manages 12 totally hip, modern, refurbished buildings in Royal Oak, Birmingham, and Ferndale.  In my new position, I'll help in the office and with leasing, as well as pitching some new ideas for advertising and sponsorship sales.  I'll also be tackling my first big project.  That's transforming the company blog, The Urbane Life, into a revenue-earning online magazine.

I maintain and update Web content, run Web marketing campaigns on search engines and external Web sites, assist community managers with marketing activities and provide assistance related to social media marketing.
