Plexus provides on-demand software for mostly small to mid-sized manufacturing enterprises, and currently boasts of over 350 customers in North America, Asia, and Europe, including Eagle Picher Technologies, Wolverine Advanced Metals, Hatch Stamping, American Axle & Mfg., Cooper Standard, Hillsdale Automotive & Metaldyne. 2006 revenues reached approximately $22 million and the company boasted a 100 percent retention rate among its existing customers.
The company's flagship product, Plexus Online, is a manufacturing performance system that controls an entire plant's operations from the assembly line to administrative by utilizing data gathered from the shop floor and is especially powerful in industries such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, and Medical Devices.
In 2003, Plexus moved its headquarters to Auburn Hills, Michigan. The new facility houses the Data Center and provides the base for the company’s manufacturing engineers, software developers, hardware specialists and support staff.

With about 100 employees currently working at the Auburn Hills office, their sales force continues to grow domestically.
