Latest product for public spaces enters the market

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

There is a new option for landscaping in a public space where an unsightly concrete barrier might have gone up. Landscape Forms has created the Larkspur, a planter that comes in three sizes.

The company says they can be used instead of the unsightly Jersey barrier.

Made of cast concrete, the Larkspur planter has three sizes and shapes – a 24″ tall by 36″ rounded square; a 30″ tall by 48″ rounded square; and a 48″ tall by 32″ rounded square. Pictures of the Larkspur show the largest version being nearly as tall as the model walking past them.

Larkspur is designed and manufactured to perform in all climates and seasons. When appropriate, additives are incorporated into the concrete mix to enhance durability under cold weather conditions, ensuring reliable performance in Chicago winters as well as Tucson summers.

Because they are made of cast concrete no two are exactly alike.

Planter bases and glides are compression-molded recycled plastic resulting from an innovative, patented melting process that utilizes 100 percent post-consumer and post-industrial waste. This unique process blends several material types, channeling more discarded plastics away from the landfill and into new life.
