American Village Builders names John Bakos as President
John Bakos has been promoted to President of American Village Builders. He previously was vice president of residential operations for the company for seven years.
He will oversee all single- and multi-family residential construction operations for the company. American Village Builders is the custom residential building division of AVB, and specializes in single-family homes, condominiums and neighborhoods.
A Kalamazoo native, Bakos has been with the company since 2000. He has nearly 20 years experience in the industry.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Building Construction Management.
