What’s Happening: Formerly the location of a candy store, social security office, and various other businesses, 601 N. Fancher Street in Mt. Pleasant is now home to the liquidation store Reynolds Golden Finds. Offering brand-new overstocked items from major retailers such as Amazon, Target, and Walmart, longtime Mt. Pleasant residents Angie and Trent Reynolds opened their brick-and-mortar storefront on October 4, 2024 for bargain hunters.
Meet the Team: Owner and operations director, Angie Reynolds, has 31 years of managerial experience; she has been the manager at Home Depot, Big Lots, Burlington, and Speedway—all in Mt. Pleasant. Reynolds Golden Finds Business manager, Trent Reynolds, is a quality assurance director for a call center, with over 35 years of experience in the customer service industry at healthcare and call centers.
What They’re Saying: "My wife has always been passionate about providing value to our neighbors," says Trent Reynolds. "Opening this store allows her to directly impact the community by offering the things they need and want at prices they can afford."
"We are most excited to be able to bring a unique approach to a liquidation store,” he continues. “Angie has set the store up just like a regular major retailer—so we are not just a bin store or liquidator. You actually get the shopping experience but save money.”
"Our inventory is constantly changing," he says. "One week, customers might find great deals on diapers, and the next, they could be purchasing lawn mowers at unbeatable prices."
What They Are Selling: From baby items and clothing, to adult clothing, toys, Christmas decorations, and storage containers, the inventory at Reynolds Golden Finds varies depending on which pallets they purchase. The Reynolds also plan on having a “Made in Michigan” section of the store, where they will purchase items directly from Michigan companies.
Reynolds Golden Finds Hours: The liquidation store hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7p.m.
