Mid Michigan College continues its community engagement efforts with a calendar’s worth of events this fall.
It’s a diverse offering and includes events that range in cost from $105 to free. The events are open to the public.
Coming this weekend is a Community Job Fair. The emphasis is on local employers seeking local employees. Those employers include J. Ranck Electric, J.E. Johnson, MidMichiganHealth, Saint Gobain, Whelan Security, Alro Steel, and more.
The event takes place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21 and will be held in the Community Room of MMC’s Mt. Pleasant campus.
"Our Job Fair is a convenient opportunity for employers to interview and hire local workers, and for job seekers to connect with companies who need their skills," said Scott Govitz, Associate Vice President of Workforce & Economic Development at Mid Michigan College.
"Employers from a variety of industries are planning to attend and are looking for candidates at all skill levels. Job seekers should dress for success and bring several copies of their updated résumé."
