It’s not often that we find cool stuff to do while sitting at home, but we’ve found a good one that gives exposure to local artists and also supports local businesses.
Capital Area Local First is going to give $500 to one of two area artist who designed new logos for the organization. Local First is a collaborative effort of local independent business owners, nonprofit organizations and individuals to support locally owned businesses.
One of the finalists is an intern at an area business and the other is a student. To vote on the logos, click
here. You have until 5 p.m., Monday, May 17 to lock in your vote.
The winner will be announced at a special networking and education event celebrating local goods and services May 20 at the
Lansing City Market.
