Bunmi Akinyemiju, an East Lansing entrepreneur with several businesses already under his belt, is exactly the type of young person the Capital region wants to retain. He recently spoke to state policy makers about the things the state needs to do to keep the state’s best and brightest in Michigan.
For starters, cookie cutter developments, parking garages and shopping malls aren’t going to do it. A sense of place and nurturing entrepreneurship will.
