Two small
Verizon Wireless locations in the Lansing Mall and East Lansing have consolidated into one 3,105 square foot location in Eastwood Towne Center.
“The Eastwood Towne Center is a fantastic, centralized location for Greater Lansing that helps us serve so many people in so many ways,” says Verizon Store Manager, Michael Crow. “It’s a growing mall and it allows to help all of those people who drive the 127 corridor every day.”
The new Verizon store opened on May 25 and employs 14 workers who were retained from the original Verizon locations in Lansing and East Lansing. The original two stores were significantly smaller, particularly the Lansing Mall location, which was a kiosk. The new, larger location is not only good for customers, but also the staff.
“It’s going really, really well,” says Crow. “The customers have been fantastic and the sales staff has adapted well. The change has promoted a fantastic spark for the sales staff themselves, and their paychecks have reflected that. It’s an incredibly positive change.”
The new Verizon store includes a bill payment kiosk, HopeLine® from Verizon donation bin, My Verizon Express Services terminals and free Wireless Workshops.
