Two join Bronson neuroscience team

Dr. Simeon Zou and nurse Caitlin Groenveld have joined the neurology team at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

Zou earned his medical degree from Shanghai Second Medical University in Shanghai, China.

He completed his neurology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

He joins Bronson Neuroscience Center.

Zou’s special interests include general neurology, with special interests in neuromuscular diseases, neurocritical care, neurodiagnostic studies including NCS/EMG, EEG, and intraoperative monitoring.

Groeneveld earned her master’s degree in nursing from University of Tennessee and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Calvin College.

She previously served as a nurse for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and Grand Rapids Public Schools. Groeneveld most recently joins Bronson from Rutherford County Schools in Tennessee.

She joins Pediatric Neurology of the Bronson Neuroscience Center.

Bronson provides neuroscience programs in southwest Michigan, with locations in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Paw Paw.
