Borgess Bone & Joint Institute welcomes certified physician assistant

Megan Hass, certified physician assistant (PA-C), has joined the staff of Borgess Orthopedics, part of the Borgess Bone & Joint Institute.

Hass previously was in the physician assistant student clinical rotation in orthopedic surgery at Borgess Orthopedics under Mark Noffsinger, MD, while attending Western Michigan University.

She received a Master of Science in Medicine degree from WMU, with a concentration in physician assistant studies in August 2013. Megan also received a Master of Science degree in May 2006, with a concentration in health science, from the University of Arkansas.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in June 2004, with a concentration in athletic training, from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. She holds medical licenses with the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support and the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and is a certified athletic trainer.  She also is a member of five professional organizations.
