The
Historical Museum of Bay County will host two new events for area educators in 2024 with the introduction of two Educators Summits.
In an effort to create awareness of the museum and its programming for educators in the region, the museum will be hosting summits on both Jan. 25 and April 15 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Graphic courtesy of the Bay County Historical SocietyThese informational sessions will provide educators with a tour of the museum and will also introduce them to the many features and tools available to educators and students, such as the Butterfield Memorial Research Library and the Robert and Anne Hachtel Theater.
Another goal of these summits is to generate ideas for new programs, activities, and collaborations between the museum, schools, after-school programs, and other area institutions.
The event is free to attend and open to any educator at all age levels: K-12, special needs, college/university, private school, after-school, homeschool, community centers, etc.
