Delta College is hosting free workshops to help families complete FAFSA forms

College students and parents looking for help completing FAFSA forms are invited to free community workshops.

Delta College is hosting workshops to help families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) throughout February. You don’t need to be a current or future Delta College student to attend the free event.

The schedule of FAFSA workshops is available online.

During each of the workshops, financial aid staff from Delta will be available to answer questions and help complete or renew the 2025-26 FAFSA.

To make the most of the workshop, bring the following items with you:
  • Parent or guardian should accompany dependent students
  • Photo ID or driver’s license
  • Social Security number
  • Federal Student Aid ID (if you’ve already created one)
  • 2023 Federal Tax Returns and W2s for the student, spouse, and parents (if you are a dependent)
  • Students enrolled in college in 2024-25 should also bring 2022 Federal Tax Returns and W2s
General information about FAFSA is available on the Delta College website

Information also is available on the federal StudentAid.gov website or the state MI Student Aid website.
