Three doctors join Borgess Neurology

For more than 40 years, Borgess Brain & Spine Institute has been a leader the development of treatments for stroke, epilepsy, brain tumors and other neurological disorders. Now three doctors have joined Borgess Neurology, a part of the Institute.

Dr. B. Douglas Campbell, Dr. Jeffrey Jones, and Dr. Daniel Hood, have joined the highly specialized team.
All three neurologists previously worked together in the same Battle Creek private practice, Neurology of Battle Creek). That practice served the community for more than 33 years.

Drs. Campbell, Hood and Jones will continue to see patients at their same practice located at 70 W. Michigan Avenue, Suite 250, Battle Creek. For referrals or more information, call (269) 969.6177.

Together, these physicians have provided nearly 80 years of neurologic service to the Battle Creek area and provided neurology service in area hospitals serving Battle Creek and Marshall.

Drs. Campbell, Jones and Hood have served the local hospital as chiefs of staff, department chairs, and committee members. They also have raised their families in the Battle Creek community and have contributed extensively to the community.

Dr. Campbell received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in neurology through the University of Florida College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Neuroimaging, American Academy of Neurology, and Michigan State Medical Society. Dr. Campbell is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Hood received his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., and completed his residency in neurology through Wilford Hall Medical Center AFB in Texas. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Society of Neuroimaging, and American Medical Society. Dr. Hood is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and American Society of Neuroimaging.

Dr. Jones received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Medicine, and completed his residency in neurology through the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, and American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Jones is board certified by the American Society of Neuroimaging, American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and American Board of Electroencephalography.
