The Kalamazoo Nature Center opens trails on limited basis
Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis as the Nature Center operates at limited capacity for the safety of all.
The Kalamazoo Nature Center has reopened its trails with some restrictions.
KNC trails are open and free to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays in May, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. with limited admissions capacity. Initially, capacity will be limited to 60 cars. As restrictions are lifted more admissions may be allowed.
Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis as the Nature Center operates at limited capacity for the safety of all.
Members are welcome to visit any day of the week, say KNC officials, but you will more likely encounter capacity limitations on public admission days.
Visitors are required to use social distancing while on KNC grounds and trails.
The Kalamazoo Nature Center’s Visitor Center will remain closed as will DeLano Farms, Nature’s Playground, Arboretum Picnic Area, and all drinking fountains.
On-site portable restrooms are not maintained by KNC and discretion is advised.
