Tamala Mallatt Moore named head of Global Patient Safety
Dr. Tamala Mallett Moore has been hired as Head of Global Patient Safety for the Global Quality and Compliance team at Perrigo.
Dr. Mallett Moore will coordinate activities for pharmacovigilance at Perrigo’s Allegan site.
Dr. Mallett Moore brings to Perrigo five years of experience as a pharmacovigilance officer in industry and six years’ experience as a practicing physician.
She has been a Global Drug Safety Physician, Associate Medical Director of Global Pharmacovigilance and Epidemiology, Director Global Regulatory Affairs and Risk Management, and Medical Director of Weatherford Family Practice, as well as a medical consultant.
Dr. Mallett Moore received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mississippi Valley State University and her MD from Wright State in Dayton, Ohio.
She completed her family practice residency through Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. She has been certified by the American Board of Family Practice and received her MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mallett Moore is from Detroit and currently lives in Kalamazoo.
