A new 20,000-square-foot Honda dealership has opened its doors in Stevensville.
Tyler Honda is located at 4356 Red Arrow Highway in Stevensville, just north of the new Meijer store. It is the third dealership for owner Chris Tyler.
Pearson Construction Company of Benton Harbor designed and managed construction of the new dealership. Pearson’s in-house architectural firm, TERA Architect, coordinated the design to comply with Honda standards to properly reflect Honda's latest brand image.
Tyler says the project was completed on time through the coordination of Pearson and Honda representatives.
All three Tyler dealerships are full service with the ability to sell new and used vehicles. They also perform service, maintenance or warranty work, repair collision damage, and sell a complete list of parts and accessories.
Tyler says they have a stable workforce with low turnover in both the sales and service departments.
In a constant effort to provide their customers with the best and broadest product lines available, over time three generations of Tylers have sold Cadillac, Jeep, Pontiac, AMC, Buick, Renault, GMC, Hummer, Geo, Eagle, Oldsmobile, Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Honda, Ram and GEM vehicles. Currently they offer Chevy-Cadillac, Kia, Honda and Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram.
From the company's beginning in 1969, Tyler says, the founders shared a business philosophy based on employing the very best people and emphasizing service that has brought back repeat customers that also will be seen in the new location.
"Customers are really going to enjoy their experience here," says Tyler of the
new dealership.
