MLive: Snow leopard reunites with grandmother

Raj, a male snow leopard has been reunited with his grandmother, Lotus, at the Binder Park Zoo. She is already a part of the zoo’s exhibit, MLive reports. The 11-month-old was born on May 14, 2012 and was previously housed at Akron Zoo in Ohio before coming to Binder Park. Raj’s mother, Shanti, was born at Binder Park Zoo in 2008. Her mother, Lotus, who is 16 years old, is currently featured in the snow leopard habitat. Raj was recently revealed at the zoo, and visitors to the zoo will be able to see Raj and Lotus together when the zoo opens on April 20 for its 36th season.
