Issue Media Group is seeking creative self-starters for freelance writing, editing, and photography roles for our publications across Michigan, including Model D (City of Detroit), Metromode (Metro Detroit), Concentrate (Ann Arbor), The Keel (Port Huron), Catalyst (Midland), Epicenter (Mount Pleasant), Capital Gains (Lansing), Rapid Growth (Grand Rapids), Southwest Michigan Second Wave (Kalamazoo / Battle Creek), and Flintside (Flint).
Ideal candidates will have previous digital journalism or community newspaper experience or be a recent graduate with relevant qualifications and work samples. Candidates should have a passion for finding interesting stories and be able to perform under the parameters of deadline requirements.
