National Geographic makes stop in Berrien County
Before heading to Chicago to film a documentary about Al Capone and the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, it was only natural for a National Geographic crew to stop in Berrien County, reports the Herald-Palladium.
Excerpt:
The crew was at Point Blank Shooting Range in Benton Township all day Friday, then stopped in Stevensville at what used to be the home of Fred “Killer” Burke.
The shooting range was used as a backdrop for shots of the Thompson submachine guns used in the massacre.
The guns are now the property of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
