MLive: South Haven says ‘yes’ to Meijer store

South Haven voters gave their approval for a Meijer store at Phoenix Road and Blue Star Highway when they went to the polls. City officials say they expect that as necessary approvals are obtained work could get under way in the summer of 2012 on the 192,000-square foot store. They say the company usually takes about 12 months to complete a new store.
