Perrigo Company hires Mark Betz
Mark Betz has been hired as Senior Corporate Industrial Hygienist for the Environmental, Health and Safety team for Perrigo at the Allegan site.
Betz is responsible for managing the industrial hygiene program which includes toxicology reviews, chemical safety, hazard communication and personal protective equipment.
He brings to Perrigo 23 years of experience, including 16 years as industrial hygiene manager for Pfizer in Kalamazoo, and seven years at Environmental, Health and Safety consulting firm DeLisle Associates in Portage.
Betz earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from Western Michigan University. He earned his master’s in environmental and industrial health from the University of Michigan. A native of Taylor, Betz lives in Kalamazoo.
